Hi, I'm Hillary
I'm glad you're here!
My coaching philosophy is rooted in the idea that acting is highly personal and there's no single approach that speaks to every artist. My teachings are based around several skills and areas of focus that we'll rotate through, one at a time. You'll use rehearsals to play and experiment in order to discover what tools work best for you. As a graduate of HB Studio in NYC, the foundational principles of my teachings will draw on Uta Hagen's work, but we're going to dive into a whole bunch of acting resources beyond that too!
As your coach, I will be a constant source of encouragement and your most honest and trusted accountability partner. My classes don't have space for ego but they do have space for bravery, authenticity, and vulnerability. As a coach, I remain dedicated to creating and cultivating growth opportunities for all of my students.
